THE SEATING PLAN WITH CARDS
The seating plan is one of the elements of “practical decoration” that are essential and would even say essential for a wedding. In Spain it is customary that the bride and groom assign guests to the tables and it is not an easy task. Once you have confirmed all those attending the wedding, it is up to you to decide which table and most importantly with which group of family or friends you will be accompanied.
HOW TO PREPARE THE SEATING PLAN FOR YOUR WEDDING
First of all you can prepare a list written by hand or in an Excel / Word with all the attendees. Try to write the list in such a way that each guest goes along with his partner and children, so you are more or less grouped. Another piece of advice I can give you is to make two lists: the guests that come from the groom and the guests that come from the brides.
The next step is to take a large sheet, type A3, and draw the plan of the tables. In many occasions the situation of the tables is indicated by the catering or the chosen hacienda / restaurant, so it will be easy to prepare it.
